‘Suicide Moogles is a linkshell devoted to killing moogles! Created in 2005 as a refuge for people feeling the Vana’diel authorities due to abusing their moogles, Suicide Moogles has eventually grown to not only be a safe house for moogle haters, but an active element in the moogle extermination movement.’

Outside the political agenda SM truly is the reason i play the game as i have found out many times. When i first started Me and Spen set up and ls called AngelArms, and it only had us two in it, we didnt know ls’s were for a group of people really and used this shell until our mid twenties, i remember having it in jeuno. So id never been used to big shells and having high levels to help me out. Throughout my adventures i had become acquainted with Kyle, and after about a week of knowing one another one night he said ‘lets make a linkshell!’, i was up for the idea, but why and what about the name? hmm, hey, ya know, i hate moogles. Kupo?! wtf is that about. So we decided to see how many moogle haters there are on the game, and as kyle couldn’t afford to buy an ls at the time, i became leader of Suicide Moogles.

I invited all my friends and kyle did his, and pretty fast we had a stable member base of my irl friends and kyles irl friends (the scots). We grew to all be close and a few other people joined along for the ride. SM has stayed small social ls.

SM has been through its fair share of arguments, and almost broke about three times. Some have left scars but we strive on, as through the pain we’ve found out we play FFXI for the people in this linkshell.

Now the group of newbies has grown up and SM is coming up to its second year of service, i hope it sees many more to come, in-fact, im sure it will see many more to come!
