Windurst [S] is just so good >_<! I’m Bastokian born and bread, but I’m so temped to join the Windurstian war efforts ;_; I feel so ashamed… The Music, look and quests are so much more interesting then Bastoks >_<

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Windurst [S] doing the quests The climax of the quests is a tense battle at Fort Kanaga-gankoooo where a young Ajido-Marujido is in danger!

Stone III it… Duh…

I like that you can see its little nose peeking through the stone lol. I was kinda worried about this fight as I’d heard the mob has an instant K.O move if used face to face, and if it uses it face to side/back your HP is reduced to 2%. I knew a Rdm/Nin could kill it, but alas my ninja is still under-leveled D: so I trotted down as rdm/whm for lolbar spells, paralyna etc. The fight was actually really easy It used the KO move and I swear it hit me face to face but I didnt get a KO, just down to 2% HP. Stoneskin wins blah blah blah, In the end I decided to sleep-nuke with Stone III. My reward? stay tuned :O

A reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally cool CS followed! If theres one thing that should stop people complaining about WotG its the excelent CSs~

[Ow. I loved this bit, the arrow hits the Yagudo and he bursts into flames. I was quite shocked o.o]

[This Mage Taru just plain wins, the design is excellent. I'm glad to see the old-school mage look in FFXI, and i think the black cloth over the face is a great way to do it.]

[Ta-daaaaa, my reward for saving my little Taru friend, a 'Star Globe'. Its a replica of something from Heavens Tower, but o.O doesn't look like any Star or Planet I've ever seen. Can anyone explain?]

[So I finnaly finished the last mission of WotG so far Delayed so much because of the ridicules drop rate and price of Gnole Claws.]

So other going ons, hmm *takes a look in the screenshot folder* oh yes, *ahem*

We tried to kill Guivre, notice i say tried ^^: I have no idea how we failed. The mob must have been at 20% when it used some crazy move on Garry and K.O’d him. After that no-one else really jumped in to tank it so we wiped at 5%ish >_< and then a passing party killed it with its remaining 5% D: Ah well, was fun and killed some time.

Spankey randomly came across Bloodtear Baldurf and engaged, and easy fight… if he had some MP lol. I cant remember what we were doing before hand but somehow we were all able to get a tele-holla and save the Mp-less Elvaan The Lumbering Horn was used to make a Purple belt as a Birthday present for Elle~

Summons are the new in thing to do :O in the past 7 days ive killed Garuda Prime four times (lost once ^^;) and Titan Prime once. So I finally have some Avatars! and a nice 20k profit :3

Speaking of the profit from them, seems the Gil sellers have caught onto this. A group of 5 Blms and one Whm are going around farming the 10k profit, they enter and within less then a minute their out again. 6 people making 10k each on six avatars, 360k in all, just cycling that over and over :\ so I’m pretty sure in a few updates time SE will take out that 10k reward. DAMN U GIL SELLERS!

Ding Ninja 26. Finally leveling it to sub on Rdm. I had a really nice trio with Lee and Pedro 25-26. People were seeking but no one was responding so we decided to just stick with three of us. We used our bands and could chain Gobs in the lower tower for 150-160 exp a kill, fast kills too. Not great exp l’ll admit, but not bad either, it was alot of fun too ^^ nin, nin and whm was a sweet set up. Much prefer this over a 6 man set up.

SuicideMoogles, I’m pretty sure everyone in it has mental problems

That is one crazy ass linkshell i own. I logged on today with the plan to do nothing but check the AH. However Kroger had noticed i was on the LS and laid out some bait to get me into LS chat, and i bit ._.

Gossip… my one weakness….
From that I have no idea really how we got onto religion, but somehow we did. A debate on what we thought of religion and why people were religious started up and LS chat filled with peoples view points on the matter,

Somehow, we then got onto political correctness, and discussed that matter,

and in some way that brought us onto a discussion regarding swear words,

which lead onto a debate about the Americans alterations to the English language,

which lead onto a debate about where language came from,

which lead onto a debate about American/English relations of old,

which lead to a debate on countries leaders,

which lead onto a debate about education @_@

and i think that might be where the cycle ended. I have no idea how long all that lasted, but SuicideMoogles must be the most topical LS on the Hades server! Id never thought about it before but we must debate atleast 4 issues every day lol, one thing leads to another and we spend hours trying to solve the human condition. I cant believe that such a small LS discuses such issues and raises such debates – we’re all so fun loving and then with the flick of a switch its like we’re on the set of BBCs Question Time or Newsnight!

After it all ended I sat and thought about it for a while, I couldn’t help but feel amazed about the things we talk about. It made me laugh but feel quite warm inside. ^_^ I think its because SM is a teeny LS that we have debates like this, we know each other quite well so get to share and listen to opinions. Plus there is the whole matter that we are all very opinionated ^_^; heehee. At any rate I love that weird little things like this happen in SM. Just wish it was easier to keep up with LS chat @_@ because when it gets going I’m lost in a sea of light green text.

Also id like to dedicate a few lines to Izzy. Izzy is amazing for putting up with all the testosterone in SM, she’s often the only girl present in the LS ^_^; She was the only American in that series of topical discussion’s, so poor Izzy was out-numbered on a few issues too lol. So I present her with an award for ‘Most compassionate member of SM’ because shes very sweet and kind. We love you Izzy!

P.S I found your sneaky blog Garry! And its never escaping my links section! You have no idea how much searching that took to find @_@

A Few Piccy Points

Christmas~ Though I didn’t really do the event this year :/ Just didn’t have time to play FFXI much while it was on. I wanted those santa boots >.<!

My dragon; Buster. Hes my hero <3 I’m suprised at how overpowered Drg is between 1-10, its mad! I think l’ll be taking this job further.

Ding Dark Knight 60. AF helm [mine.] In this party there was me as Drk60/War and another Drk60/Sam. My god, Drk/Sam kicked my ass at damage. We set out for pink birds so i just had cheep meat on me and no sushi, and i couldnt hit these puks for shit. The drk/sam also didnt have food but being able to WS so much made up for it, he had great Absorb-TP timing, unlike me who sucks at it… I get the idea of how it works but it’s so inconsistent.

Anyway after so much suckage on my party I’ve given up Drk for a bit As i cant be assed to level Sam up to 37

Decided to start Pokemon up with my faithful Black Mandy, Howling Howl named because of his scream attack

It seems ok to kill time but SE could have made this allot more fun, clicking random commands and hoping it responds isn’t great. Closer to Pokemon would have actually been a better idea. I’ve read about how it works and its far too complicated @_@

Did a few PP runs with the plan to pool the drops and split the money. Drops were dismal for the most part, we eventually got the Boots which made us 100k each. Spen had an extra orb that he could keep all the drops from, and he got Ni! lucky f**k!

Being a sweet little plum tho, Spen donated them to the group fund, so we ended up with 200k+ each ^_^ Split in a ratio to make it fair as he put an extra orb in~

Vegtables! Thats one of my new years resolutions, and even now i feel the need to eat… hmm.. tomatos? wait they’re a fruit rite?

No fear, as another one of my resolutions is to eat more fruit! Gawd i lurve smoothies <3

So in total;

Eat more fruit/veg -i.e eat tomatoes and drink smoothies
Be less bitchy, -i.e don’t bitch! (as much).
be less critical -i.e do I really need to slag Bleach off all the time? no! I’m gonna look for its good points.
be nicer to friends -i.e like, em, get friends a drink when they come round to my house?
and dress/look how I feel -i.e I got my hair cut because its easier to handle and more me, and screw skinny jeans, I’m back to baggy clothes.

Yea, im a changed man eh?

Hope you all had a good xmas & new year. Mine were great ^^ xmas eve and xmas day were the best in my life I think. Just spent it with my mum and sister but was allot of fun~

I’ve seen allot of FFXI resolutions on other blogs, and I think its a neat idea ^^ so here I go:

Finish RotZ and CoP, maybe ToAU
Change nation and finish either the Windy or Sandy Story.
Level a Craft – For this I’ve chosen Woodworking
Keep up with WotG Missions! I wanna do them as they come out.
Get another job to 75 to replace Rdm – Ranger has been chosen for this ^^
Try out Gardening to make ze gilz.

Ok, so they’re not that epic. Number 1 is very important, ive played for to years as of this January, and the only story I’ve Finished is the Bastok one. I felt great when i got rank 10, like id actually finished something in the game, so this year im gonna crack on with missions.

I’ve started to level ranger recently, which was to sub on Corsair, but although I’m only level 16 in it I’ve fallen in love with the job. I’ve wanted another job at 75 to replace RedMage for a while. I had chosen Drk which is at 60 because of my long term lurve for the job. However after partying with another Drk i realised i suck at that job lol. Also i dont like the Drk community, all so critical and emo >_> . So then I had a fling with Cor, which i still love as a job – i like a working DD/support idea, and the rolls are really fun. However i think i need a drastic change away from support. I left the new years resolution pretty open at just get any other job to 75, but at the moment I think I’m going for Rng.

So that decides my craft Woodworking. (im still not really sure how ‘worth it’ levelling woodworking is, ._.)

No fancy ass gear I want, that’s wasting my life a bit too much
