Lazy day today, i spent most of it loafing around in Lufaise looking at the pretty view

did try to go see Pirates on the Selbina ferry with Zena and Elednor but ne luck.

Kinda FF related is the new sig i made me on SM

i just wanted a change and liked the pose where i was holding my hat

Later in the day i Pl’d livija, shes lvling Monk to 30 so she can start Nin and as u can prolly imagine, its boring as hell.

But she got lvl 29! So only one level to go untill shes rid of it for a long time. After that the fun for Utsusemi starts ^^;

Heyo

Today was SMs prommy-Holla event, i was not on the attendee list but from what i hear they got the boss down to 1% then wiped due to people not bringing the proper items D: Better luck next time guys!

In news of my day – that started at 1am, where i was still in the Meadows admiring the view & on msn,

4 IT+ fomors makes for one very sad panda. Perhaps the panda should have casted sneak, but he just wanted to know if they’d aggro without him moving.

Well yes, yes they do.

They agro quite violantly actually.

They really dont like people making noises.

Anyway, the panda used Reraise and went to bed.

When i woke up, i went on FFXI again. Yes yes, i know you’re shocked but sometimes i just got against the grain! Kroeger was talking about soloing his drg as he doesnt like partys, and suddenly i got thinking how great partys are, and i really wanted to get one. (i really dont know what came over me)

So i got the flag out of my gobbie back, climbed to the top of the metalworks and hung it out. 2 seconds later i got an invite. woot.

We got together in AhtUrghan and went to Mamool… ¬_¬;; not that i hate it there, but it sucks there, and i hate it. when we got to Mamool a lvl 75 merit pt was rocking and kept taking all, and i mean all the mobs. Good for them ^^

So we needed to move~! but where!? I know what your thinking! Surely not to Caedarva Mire, but yes! we went there :O

The leader was kind of weak and this had taken ages as he wouldnt make a decision, but in the end we went Nyzul Isle way and thru the ruins. i like the whiiiiirly sounds of the teles in there

there are two camps at the entrance to Caedarva Mire from Nyzul, both with partys chaining like mad and taking all the mobs. Good for them ^^

Well never fear, theres a camp deeper in that way, so on a voyage we set! And JESUS CHRIST that one scary ass voyage lol. Fields of Imps that are true sight and Soulflayer, that are True sight, True Sound, Agro Magic and JA’s. They have very homed senses, Good for them ^^

lol anyway, it was shit scary getting to camp and i did scream quite a few times. But in the end we got there~!

[The death camp]

The camp had a few problems at the camp, mainly the Imps poping all over it lol. We got agro, link, and ass raped quite alot, the smn set carby on them tho and all was fine, well..

people just kept dieing…

cuz the smn was… idk what they were doing, didnt seem like much. ie. they cured occasionally, silena’d occasionally, pulled occasionally, rested occasionally and just stood with carby occasionally. And basically left it all to me, and i kept running out of mp. The moral is that i *dubbed over voice* strongly disliked them *end dubbed voice*, and again i scream’d a few times ^.^ all in good fun tho. I didnt want to leave and be ‘that rdm’ and i couldnt think how to word my disaproval at what they were doing as they we’re so eratic i couldnt pick a point to fault as they’d do that point next fight, then not for a while, then they would etc.

Ultimately it ended with:

Everyone was friendly and really tried to make it work, but the smn kept dying and so did the Nin, and after a Soulflayer killed us all we decided to call it a day on the worst party since lvl 68 . I RR and chainspelled the smn up, which was hard when Imps swarm your camp @_@ When we’d got everyone up and ran to Mea.

As soon as i disbanded i got 3 invites (found out they were all from the same party, but hey ), and from Ayden i was assured their party would be great. so i went, and had a good feeling!

We went to Mamool, i dont like it there like i said but i had a good feeling!!!!!!

and by god did that good feeling stay, it was the best party since level 68! Everything went smooth, everyone knew their job well. I was in love, we even fought a Wyvern ive nicknamed Skoffy-poo.

we died in the prosess of fighting it, the important thing was i got the refresh in before the KO.

Raise III tho so loldeath yay for high lvl partys

We fought one again later after the Nin left and we kicked its ass. We’d got a pld and i never had to cure him! Good french galka man.

25k exp later? Sanction wore then, so i guess three hours or more had past, and DING! lvl 73 Rdm

o00OOOoooh i cant wait to refresh for 38047exp!!

Before i left i was offered an ls from the pt members, i know i wont be on it much as im 24/7 on SM, but i took it anyway as they were nice people and id like to see how it goes.

The Night rounded of with a lil pl for Maruk which i offerd cuz hes awsome! it was so he could get Cursed Sphere, which he got. Gratz dood!

The Isle Of Forgotten Saints

Dum Dum Dum, the long awaited, debated and anticipated Suicide Moogles Promyvion-mea event.

The line up was: Me (whm), Ozrox (war), Spen (war), Amith (smn), Kyle (Rng) and finally Lee (blm). Livija was set to be a monk but needed to go to work as shed been away at AmiCon during the weekend, so Kyle stepped in to take her place.

The day started at around 3pm, long before the 6:30pm deadline when farming rocked on in the newly nerfed prommy-mea. This was Lees first time ever in a prommy so the farming was slighly a gimic so he could see inside and marvel before the mission ^^; as u can now just buy the anima items from the AH due to the recent update rather then go farm them. But as tesco say, every little helps!

Our new member and friend of Amith, Kroeger (drg) also showed up to help out and lvl his sword skill. i was rdm for this, best for farming imo, i can tank these and dd well~

Ended up with a healthy stack of recollections, no pain but what can ya do eh? plus i got a somber so that was 8k in the bag ;P

At 5pm the prommy grew close and every1 went to eat. we all flew over to Jeuno where i finally had a good excuse to spend time un Ru’Lude <3

For the first time ever we were ready early :O and set off at 6:31, not bad eh? just shows whining pays off.

i was pretty nervous as a wipe after so much planning on mine and Oz’s part would have blew, and i realy thought the ‘OMG PROMMY NERF’ shouts were exagerated.

(@ the pic above, dont we just look like the dreamers ls ;P maybe i should have shouted ‘IM GOING TO DISBAND THE LS’)

But, we got in and it was easy as pie! plain sailing up to the 4th floor, and that was with agro! No duds on the MR’s too. On the 4th floor no-one knew the way to go, and got snagged with being surrounded by mobs, Oz ran and linked them all after a few mins of waiting around and he didnt even get scratched~ so we got inside the quickest ive ever done it. nerf ftw?

The usual taking pics, explaining rules and trying to get ppl to listen went on, then amith noticed it was lightsday. . . 22:34 on Lightsday >.<

So in we rushed with me hoping we could do it before darksday (that=silly). By the time we’d buffed it was something like 2 hrs into darks day lol.

On we went! With me forgeting to take pics >.>!

everything went very smooth indeed, spen get the Hp reduced to 5% move a few times but we were all good, the DD 2hr’d at 40-50%. ‘o.O that must be one big nerf’ i started to think when….

Death

The thing went fraking mental! I think Oz KO’d first, and the mob spammed AOE attacks, ppl droped like flys. i tried to use my phyco anima, as we had them comming out of our ears and kinda forgot about them but i belive i fail’d due to knockback, so i tried to cure and i swear it just didnt work o.O Ami went to Astral Flow when Millions hit his head on the wall in the next knockback AOE as he then KO’d along with Spen. It was looking suddenly pretty bleak when our ranger in shining armour hit the mob between the eyes with an arrow. (and bravo to kyle for his mint dmg throughout the nite, one shoting strays was cool)

SO WE WON! ta da!

A nice CS followd where Millions was unconcious, which was done very well as it followed thru even out of the cs -.-

But never the less, Lufaise Meadows, yay! Ami came to raise me and off i went to Tavnazia~

well, there was a slight hitch, i died again…

and again…

…em…Well they can take my HP but not my will power! Besides was a great view. Amith got me back up and we wonderd round with some nice new music to listen too. All the fomors round there made me quite sad D: thinking in context of the story. poor people, while here i am safely in Bastok typing this.

Anyway, we got there in the end! and again, new music! wow they went all out. the city seems nice, made me sad again talking to the people there, but i can warp and forget all their tears.

And of course, i took pride in taking in this view for the first time:

So a sucsess of a day. The prommy was easier then i expected, i dont know if this was due to it being mea (the easiest) or the prommy nerf. id like to think it was due to our teamwork/experience and nothing to do with the nerf, as it feels slighty less rewarding thinking u won because of a nerf :/ but im not sure.

either way im glad it worked out. and tyvm for all the people that came who didnt need it and especially to oz who helped with sratergy and items.

Red Mage Rules, Number 2:
Remember you can tank! alot better then most other jobs too. keep ur refresh, haste, aquivail, spikes, phalanx, SS, blink, prot+shell up & shake that Fast Cast and show the critics who’s boss! Full Af makes u a tanking machine. – this comes from my constant struggle to get people to belive this, that came up in the prommy farming today.
